JESSICA ETHRIDGE

Jessica Ethridge hails from Greenville, SC, where she resides with Michael, her husband of 10 years, her two sons, and their small zoo.

She has served as the Greenville County Libertarian Party’s Secretary since 2019. She has served South Carolina as a Delegate to the last two Libertarian National Conventions and currently serves the South Carolina Libertarian Party as its Second Vice-Chair. She also serves as the Chair of the SCLP Membership Committee and volunteered on the SC Field Team for the Jorgensen/Cohen Campaign in 2020.

Outside of these positions within the party, Jessica hosts a podcast called “Parenting Porcupines”, which provides commentary around issues that uniquely impact those with

children, and with a goal to reach a broader audience by using shared experiences to demonstrate libertarian principles in fundamental ways. Jessica and her co-host recently presented a breakout session at the 2022 Libertarian National Convention about tools and strategies for raising liberty-minded children.

Jessica has been a legal professional in the Upstate for almost 20 years and has worked in real estate property research and transactional work, corporate compliance, corporate licensing, and human resources. Additionally, she served the South Carolina Upstate Paralegal Association from 2013-2015 as the Vice-President in charge of Membership, and as the Chair of the Pro Bono Committee. In 2014 she was awarded the Paralegal of the Year award by the South Carolina Upstate Paralegal Association.

When Jessica is not volunteering or chasing her kids around you can find her on the SC Lowcountry Coast.
